All right, so it seems that the problem has fixed itself, as I can log in successfully, but every time I do log in, it says that a patch is required and wants to restart the program. I'm running it from wow.exe and I just double checked my realmlist. What do I have to do to get around this annoying little thing?

Even if I answer you now, I hope you're still around?
Well you have to do the "Manually Patching" through the site he gives in the main post. That's what I am doing right now, and it will take you a few hours to do it because each patch is like some MB's. Good luck doing it, if you need anything PM me!
Also, good guide, a lot of effort placed in it. /salute

Having tons of issues..I've tried uninstalling WoW that was already there, torrenting the no install download with all the patches, the installer which then asked for a disc, which I didn't have, so retorrented, and basically same thing happened. Opened up the login, logged in correctly, and it said downloading update, then tried to make me download the patch. Any thoughts? I think I'm screwed >.<

If you downloaded a no-install one you shouldn't of had to install anything, you just need to edit your realmlist and you're good to go.

I run my WoW off of a secondary drive, not my C: So it isnt in my Program Files but it works fine retail, but the real problem is that I don't have a realmlist/wtf in my Data/enUS folder. I just put the new one in there to see if it did anything. It didnt. Got any advice?

Updated to include Kretol's complete folders rather than external patches. Also updated current versions.

So maybe I'm a total noob, but I really can't figure this whole thing out. You could say that I'm not exactly "experienced" as far as torrents and whatnot go.
If possible, I could REALLY use like a sort of uhm...video tutorial? I really don't know what I'm doing...at all here.
