Carrying a child and being overweight work completely differently, though. The bulge we see in a typical pregnant woman is some fat, yes (as an insular layer to protect precious cargo and extra stored energy to nourish in case the mother couldn't find food), but it is mostly the baby and all the packaging it comes in. The bulge tends to be centered directly in front of the body, low on the hips, and causes the spine to arc in a particular way, and generally the skin looks very firm.
In an overweight person, the fat deposits are more spread out, not only in the midsection, but the thighs, arms, face and so on, and the skin tends to warp and stretch, then sag.
What I'm rambling about/getting at is that ability to get pregnant does not equal ability to get fat.
All of that hot air out of the way, a pudgy draenei sounds adorable. And the Broken, who are sort-of kind-of draenei (I think) look at least a little tubby by comparison to the uber-muscular player models. I'm all for variety in body types!
