I agree with this ideal, actually.

Is it known what really happened to Ysera? WoWwiki pretty much contradicts itself on this. According to quest lore, Ysera fell to the Nightmare's corruption and ordered her Green Dragonflight in Azeroth to kill whoever goes closer to the Great Trees. In another article it says that she is still leading the forces in the Dream aginst the Nightmare along with Malfurion and Cenarius. Which would be true?

Well seeing as Ysera is sleeping in the Emerald Dragonshrine in Dragonblight, one would assume she is in the dream, there is afterall a zone in the emerald dream that is supposed to be "The Eye of Ysera" where she is supposed to be

Truth, but there is also the Nightmare that might change stuff.

The nightmare is supposed to be this sort of "cloud" thingy, I think I should call it that, that changes location all the time inside the Dream, corrupting the creatures it touches, and that is what Yssy, Malfy and Cenny are fightin', although I don't think Ysera is in the frontlines, so to speak. I think one would assume that she is in the Eye of Ysera watching how it developes etc, etc

Yes, but I believe it is not known how far has it spread, maybe even reached the Eye? I was just wondering if there are any facts established on this.

Since it's one quest that says anything like that, assume it hasn't done anything. Not until more comes out for the Nightmare and we'd know for sure what it actually does.

Shaman have the ability to commune with spirits, but is this ability strictly limited to elemental spirits?
Edit: Sorry, Lore-only questions. Didn't see that bit. :P

I don't see a reason why you can't ask that, since it's a question that pertains to lore?
Or did you edit out another question? :S
Anyway, as for what spirits the Shaman can communicate with; at least in the old days they could speak with their ancestors, not sure how apt they are it now since much must have been lost to them during the Legion days of the Horde. But I'm thinking that old coot, Drek'thar would still now how to do it.

I don't think even the oldest/best Shaman can communicate with the ancestors anymore unless they are Mag'har. Or maybe someone like Drek'thar -if- he's in Outland, because the reason they could talk to their ancestors was because the ancestors' spirits were drawn to the power of K'ure at Oshu'gun, and since the Legion still has their stuff in Oshu'gun binding the spirits and whatnot, I don't think any Shaman can speak to their ancestors anymore.

Right, and that'd be prestige. Which I guess you could do. But as for any normal Shaman, they definitely couldn't.
