I'll keep everyone updated as to whether or not a full reinstall actual fixes this problem.

Okay.

After a full reinstall and patching to Patch 3.0.3 I am still getting the same error message. This leads me to believe that the problem isn't on my end. I could be wrong though.

This may sound odd, but you don't have a password set. (It was blank in the database)
I've changed it to something temporary (check your PMs)

His was the only one that was blank.
I do know that issues can arise if people encounter PEBKAC errors on the registration page, though. (I've specifically tested random things before bringing it back up) I'm just not sure exactly what causes them.
