First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player:
I am a "long-time" RPer, pretty much since I got a computer. I dare to say I am a fantasy fanatic, and for many years I have RPed in Lord of The Rings Online RP server Laurelin. I stopped playing WoW since the Cataclysm came out, because I couldn't afford the monthly cost. I used to have my own private RP server years back, but I took too much time and the player population became too high for me to control alone.
I love engaging in to RP and I must admit it usually takes some time for me to start RP, since I write down the characters background and nature etc pretty deeply...

What country do you come from? What is your primary language?:
I live in Finland but I can freely say my English is almost excellent. Minus few typos here and there if I write quickly.

How did you get into Warcraft?:
We purchased Wow with my brother when Burning Crusade came. So few years back. Never really liked the game on it's own and tried to makeup RP in the regular non-RP server :/

How did you find us? Did anything in particular draw you to the server?:
Well I googled RP servers, and I already tried one RP server but it was full of creeps that wanted erotic RP so, I left!

What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
I'm not that into battle related RP events, at least for now since I need to practise playing wow again. I like peaceful (sometime sneaky) RP. I like to really pretend I'm living in the world and make everyday chores in the game. Cook, walk, rest, set up a camp, socialize and perhaps set up a profession/shop!

What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
Really mixed feeling here. Always played at alliance before Blood Elfs came, but I don't really enjoy the horde side cities. So alliance unless I play Blood Elf. From class, it has always been the magical classes (priest,mage,warlock,druid)

What are your expectations of this server?:
"Grown-up Roleplaying." I'm not looking for any erotic nonsense or over powering GOD-like players. Would like to set up a good RP foundation and get to know others characters..

Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
The maturity portion. I really hate when I began playing on the server and everyone acts nicely but in the time, people start engaging in (too) romantic game play. I have life outside this game and that kind of behavior I am NOT looking for in the game.

Not really in need for that. I have every basic thing about wow withing my knowledge but I surely I'm not afraid to ask if I feel I need help to get back in the game

Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:
The last rays of sunshine glared through the trees outside the gates of Storwind. An old man, with a rugged brown hood on his head, walked up the hill slowly, while humming an ancient song. The man had with him, a long brown staff which he used as a walking stick, while he climbed up the hill to the gates. At the gates he stopped, picked up a silver coin from the ground and looked at it. Coin was badly bruised and had few cracks in it, but the old man flipped it in the mid air, and catch it. He then placed the coin in the left pocked of the gray robe he wore, and began walking towards the bridge.
Sun was almost down, and the statues, sided on the bridge, cast their shadows along the way. The old man gripped his staff and began walking towards the city, hoping, that this wasn't the last sunset of his lifetime. He was at last, "home".

Nothing really. I'm really hoping to get accepted and to get to enjoy RP with other WoW loving players

Hello Jefron, and welcome to COTH!

If you haven’t already, please do make sure to double-check the rules and policies so you’re for sure familiar to the server’s expectations! If you have further questions, I recommend giving this guide a read, as it contains a lot of helpful information for players who are new to the server. Also, if you haven’t already, make sure to register your in-game account in the Account Management page using the same information you registered your forum name under. As for downloading the correct client and other things that you need to do in order to connect, I recommend giving this a read, as I found it very helpful myself when we made the switch to Cataclysm.

As for making your first character, there are a lot of helpful articles and guides for you to read up on in case you don’t fully understand the lore. The wiki also contains helpful tips for making a character and for when you’re writing your first profile, such as scale and height.

When you get your account created, make sure to /join Chat and /join Barrens in-game for if you have any questions not answered in the forums. Additionally, if you have skype and want to connect to the community there, we have an official skype group. For more information, read this thread. Feel free to send me a message if you need any assistance, and I’ll give if a reply as soon as I can! And if not me, any Overseer, GM, or Forum Helper.

If you like blood elves you'll be happy to know that we have a strong population of blood elf characters on the server and plenty of people who dedicate themselves to the sin'dorei's story. And we do stress maturity here, so you'll find that RP tends to focus on characters in-depth and I personally enjoy RPing the 'chores' characters have to do in their daily lives because it adds a sort of realism to their character and gets you more attached to them as a person.
