First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player: My name is Justin, though I prefer the in-game name Klipfel. Klipfel is a combination of my last name and the name of my earliest known ancestor a German knight, Klüpfel.
As a player I enjoy helping others achieve their (or our) goals. Some of my best WoW memories are in a raiding guild for players who were not too familiar with raiding; it was patch 3.2-3.3. I was a high ranking officer and given a command of my own 10man (for the players who -really- needed help). Lucky for me two of my best WoW friends were usually there to help me.
I am exceptionally experienced in PvP (I can correctly play most classes just from battleground knowledge and experience(s) and proficient in PvE. Lately over the last year or so I have been drifting more over to lore, RP, and otherwise adventuring. I have spent many hours studying the lore of Azeroth and am always researching more.
What country do you come from? What is your primary language?: I come from Germany, originally, but have lived in America most of my life. My primary language in English.
How did you get into Warcraft?: I bought WoW shortly after my 16th birthday. Just before I turned 16 I had moved to a new state and as you can imagine a 9th grader in a new school was a rough change.
I adapted to minimal sustenance, light and lost all social graces; ultimately becoming a basement dweller with my new BFF World of Warcraft.
How did you find us? Did anything in particular draw you to the server?: I am interested in RP but can't find it on "blizz-like" pservers; I figured I better try finding an RP server. A quick Google search lead me here.
What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?: I believe it's called "Storytelling"? I like to act as my character would, reacting to scenery and other players in a real life fashion. Being that I am a clean slate to roleplay I'd like to think I am adaptable to many forms.
What is your favorite race/class? Why?: Race: Worgen - I enjoy the complexity two forms can bring (acting out two different behaviors). Also I find their isolation and civil war to be very inspiring for story telling.
Class: Restoration Druid / Demonology Warlock - I really only like Worgen Druids as they more closely relate to farmers and botanists rather than the, for a lack of better words, extremist Tauren or Night Elf druid. I have a great passion for farming and growing in real life and enjoy -very- much taking that passion in-game.
As for Warlocks I prefer to play the role of a demonologist rather than a power hungry lunatic. I use my knowledge of demons and fel energies in a professional and refined manner.
What are your expectations of this server?: Decent population and patient/experienced RPers to show me the ropes!
Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?: The defining line between OOC and IC. I think it is very important to establish that line and enforce it strictly.
Did you know that we have a Mentor Program? It's entirely voluntary and you as a new player can sign up for it right now in your introduction! Are you interested in signing up to be assigned a Mentor? If so, say so here (Please enter at least "Yes" or "No"): YES!!!
Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!: Before the gates fell I was a member of the Stone Raven Writing Organization in Gilneas; particularly I would write short stories, a little poetry, occasionally a segment on lost lore. You may or may not know that Dragons play a particularly prominent roll in Gilnean story telling; one of treachery, deception, murder and corruption of power. Any specific Dragon come to mind?
Deathwing as we know him now was once the highly respect Lord Daval Prestor. A simple man during the era of the second war he had lost everything to a dragon attack. On foot he traveled to the great city of Lordaeron where he offered his services as a noble and diplomat to King Terenas. Needless to say 'Prestor' made his way in to King Terenas inner circle rather quickly, and even suggested that the traitor king of the Alterac region be put to death, a suggestion King Terenas took thus giving him martial law. It was through these schemes and plots that Deathwing was able to divide the mighty kingdom of Lordaeron, drive us Gilneans towards isolation, and make his worst enemy to date.
We Gilneans are a tenacious bunch; when we couldn't fight amongst our allies we fought amongst our selves. We honed our gorilla tactics and skills in the various forms of battle behind the very walls made to keep us safe. Deathwing destroyed these walls with his arrogant shattering of Azeroth and ultimately brought us Gilneans together, as whole once again! Deathwing owes a debt of blood to the Gilneans for his desecration of our beloved homeland. We fought a war on -two- fronts and came out stronger than ever before; Deathwing has given us the experience, allies, and determination to claim his death!
We relish in our pride, our duty, and our perseverance for our King, country, and our selves.
Is there anything else you would like to add, ask, or otherwise clarify?:
