They can't, it's tied to their animations.
I don't think this will be easily added. The rest of the "animation trinkets" essentially use spell effects that use those animations (such as certain quest items.) In order for this to be possible, there would need to be a spell effect that sets someone to the appropriate emote state.

@Grakor456, couldn't that be created rather easily? Just taking an existing trinket that does this, duplicating it, change the name, and point to a different animation.
...or is it not that simple? I'm thinking about how I mod the Elder Scrolls games, so I dunno.
