Cataclysm client error?

I did exactly as Noble's guide told me and, after deleting any remnant of the old Cataclysm game, installed it again using the archived version. I made absolutely no change, except to the realmlist (as instructed). At first, I tried the patched exe that Kretol offered, but when I tried to log in, it got stuck on Connecting and, upon Alt+Tabbing, an error awaited for me:

"Cannot stream required archive data, please check the network connection."

Afterwards, I tried running it with the original exe.. which worked! I was able to connect, but I soon found out that I am unable to create a worgen or goblin. So the original exe is out of the equation too.

So what should I do?

You need to change your account type to Cataclysm in your account management profile.
