I began playing SNES, some Nintendo 64, and computer games at the age of 5. So I'd say about 14 years.

You don't need to be precise here! For our purposes, I'm going to include RPing online as "gaming" here. I won't be divulging any personal information or anything for this, I'm just gathering bits of data.
1. Been "gaming" since 2005. RPing since...2011 I think? Not too long, barely two years. Except DnD sessions, I've done those since 2006-2007 something.
2. Depends! On a week end I'm not the very social type and so I can spend 7 hours a day gaming (I know, it's a lot, but I am a productive member of society so I don't give a kitten). During a day working or/and in college, ranges from two to five depending on whether I spend my day out or stuff. Having a girlfriend reduces these times by about 50% though :P I can NOT play games a whole day.
For demography purposes, I'm 20 and female, and I am professionally and scolarly active, and I don't describe myself as addicted to gaming - it's just what I enjoy best.

1. Almost 20 years now. Sokoban Revenge was my first game, played on my dad's NEC PC-9801. It was awesome, and I still have no idea where he got it.
Then came my 286, with Dos games and Norton Commander...
2. On average, around 5. There are days when I don't actually -play- anything, and there are days when I seem to take root in front of the PC because of some random vidya gaem.

I've been gaming for fifteen years, first started on the N64 playing LoZ then moved over to Doom 64 which then got me hooked to arcade games and fps
2.
I would have to say around 8-12 hours.

For around thirteen years.

I never used to play this often but man, I've been going for 12-14 hour tops daily now ever since I'm out of school. I've always been into gaming and the like in this dangerous routine.
Though if I start working soon it'll decrease dramatically in comparison to now.

I don't know how long I've been playing games, since I was about 5 years old and I'm 22 next month. I'm guessing around 17 years?
It varies, considering the time I can spend away from the computer and come back to it, it can be anywhere from between 10 - 14 hours a day. It depends entirely on my mood on the day. :P

15 years.
Varies wildly how much per day, a normal day means may 1-2 hours, but I often get temporary obsessions with games, concepts and fun scenarios which can mean gaming taking up all my freetime. I include editors in gaming.

Uh, dunno if you're still needing these answers but:
1) 14-ish years.
2) Weekdays about 4-8 hours. Weekends... 12-14 hours.

Mind as well give my input...
1) I've been gaming for probably about 18 years.
2) I'd say that I game about maximum of 14 hours a week.
