[GBK + RG Event] The Lambs of the Rocks

The following missive was delivered to every member of the Grandbell Knights, and their allies:

Attention all members of the Grandbell Knights! Our work and efforts in the city of Ratchet on the Rocks has at last paid off! After three weeks of sitting idle scrounging for a trail, one has been delivered to us at last to pinpoint the so-called Crocodile and his child-running schemes. Below are the dates which he is suspected to show up in the slums. As many of you as possible, I want to meet with me at the bridge so we may at last put this criminal in his place. Bring your weapons and armor, for he may have companions and there will likely be a fight.

Meanwhile, at an undisclosed location...

The bait's been taken. Be prepared on Friday night, close to midnight. Bring as many men as you can, and don't worry about the bruisers. We've paid them off to settle this little hiccup in our plans, because that small sum is nothing compared to how much we'll lose if they sniff us out.

Lure them to the place. Be discreet. Let them walk into your jaws, and we will strike. The Peacock and I will be there waiting. Stay low. Make sure the Jackal is visible.

THE OOC:

This is the much-belayed followup to The Lambs of the Great Sea event, where the Grandbell Knights (and a certain death knight) managed to defeat a Red Glove trap to sink a cruise ship full of innocent passengers. Now after weeks of searching Ratchet on the Rocks, the time has at last come for the rescue of the children being held captive by the Red Glove.

Sad to say this event is much more straight forward than the previous one, essentially a straight up combat event (though it'll be more than just roll thresholds, don't worry). Event is restricted to characters in the GBK, and characters allied with the GBK to get the job done.

The working time is FRIDAY, Janurary 11th, at 10:00 PM server time, as usual! I can bump this to Saturday if we must, though.

The event was a success! Despite some technical difficulties early on, we completed the job!

              The Red Glove's high ranking lieutenants, the Peacock and Peahen, laid in wait to ambush the Grandbell Knights with a setup arrangement for Allegra to meet with the Glove's child groomer, the Crocodile. Attacking with their necromancy and warlockery as well as with a large team of brute thugs however was not enough for our heroes, even as the two forsaken sorcerers used their profane arts on their own men to raise them as ghouls and use their souls to empower their own spells! The evil-doers were vanquished, and the Crocodile was apprehended.

              He showed the Knights where the children he looked over were being kept hostage, in a private room inside the Rich District's casino. There they were set free and fed a good meal, the poor things looking starved half to death, and the following morning were taken to Stormwind's Cathedral Orphanage by portal. Meanwhile, Stefano Ricci and his wife, Allegra, were reunited at last with their two sons, the dark chapter in their lives finally coming to a close. The two plan to live under the protection and security of the Argent Crusade in Hearthglen, now.
