- Quit getting into fights.
- Get out, spread Dwarven culture in an attempt for better understanding.

- Sudeth doesn't want to eat my brains or raise my corpse. That's a start.

The ceiling above Reigen and Valan cracks ominously. ... Before part of it collapses down towards them. Valan blinks, looking up. Her eyes widen as she shoves Reigen quickly, pushing her out of the way. The world seemed to go in slow motion for the elf then. Valan watched in silence as Reigen stumbled back. Reigen.. The only one who tried to understand her. The only one who tried to free her.

But what was free? In her last seconds, Valan thought the most she had in a long time. She remembers all of her talks with the Masters. She was told to do something, and she would do it, no matter what it was. She came to this island knowing that people would get hurt, and it was her job to hurt when people stepped out of line because of it.

This cave was different. She hated it. The elemental was the worst. Twice she was injured by it. She didn't understand why it would. It was suppose to work with the Masters. But as the first rock landed on her shoulder, she realized it didn't matter.

Reigen blinks as she is shoved, falling back with no real time to react. "W-what?"

Valan would be seen smiling before the rocks crushed her. For once, she didn't take a life. For once she did what she wanted. She finally felt free. As the rocks crumble over her body, crushing the life out of her, she felt no pain. She felt only joy. Joy that she had saved someone. Someone important to her. Someone she cared deeply for. As she takes her last struggled breath from under the rocks, the pain finally causing her to black out, she finally knew what it is to love.

And that's the story of Valan! For just a pre-made character I had a lot of fun rping with her. Good luck with the rest of the event guys! And thank you loxxy for the ability to RP her!

“I promise nothing bad will happen to you.”

Words that were spoken only two days ago, when the Kaldorei had been injured with trying to disrupt the elemental’s rampage. She looked pathetic, laying on the bed and crying from what had happened. Reigen couldn’t blame her, she herself had been afraid. Reigen did her best to comfort the elf, hoping her promise would calm her. She had intended on keeping the promise, she liked the elf well enough after all.

She never would have imagined…

Rocks fell down faster than Reigen was able to react, but the Kaldorei did. She shoved her aside and out of danger, much to the confusion of the Death Knight. She was already dead, why risk herself for someone who is already dead? The smile caught her off-guard for sure. It being the last thing she saw before the rocks crushed Valan, before the horrible sound of bones snapping reached her ears.

NO!

Every fiber of Reigen’s being screamed at the sight, the small elf running forward to try to dig out the Kaldorei from the rubble. The roof started to crack again, a tell-tale sign of another collapse. She wanted to stay, she wanted to make things right…but she knew doing so would just make Valan’s sacrifice a waste. She left the cave, intending to come back to get the body at a later time, a safer time.

Leaving the cave…Reigen felt strangely sad at the death of Valan. She wanted vengeance; she wanted to get back at those who caused this to happen, to get back at every monster that approved of this type of thing. She was going to hunt them down and destroy those who had put the Kaldorei through this unneeded pain. Most of all at those who made her break her promise.

When the elemental brought out Valan’s repaired body, Reigen was quick to preserve it so no others would mess with it. She was going to set things right, she was going to make a new promise that she was never going to break so long as she was able to animate her body. Before the body was frozen, Reigen leaned down to whisper to it.

“I’ll fix this…I’ll make right my promise. So long as I move, no more pain will come to you.”

From the surface, no one would know she was there. She didn’t breathe, so it’s not like she needed to come up for air.

Reigen sat below the surface of the water, close enough to shore so the creatures inside wouldn’t get to her, but far enough out so her hair wouldn’t attract attention. She had been fishing, and picked up a good number of fish so the living would be able to eat another day. Valan had wanted no more deaths, so Reigen was going to be sure that would not happen if she could prevent it. Fulfilling a last wish, so to speak.

It had been a while since she had a true friend; perhaps this was why she was so bothered. It was, after all, a filthy Kaldorei, part of the Alliance, right?

So why did it hurt so much to fail her?

So, can I get a recap on what happened today? I had to log off right when Loxxy was starting the storyline RP :c

Also, I apologize for the drama I caused today. It was beneath me, and I could have easily avoided it in several ways had I just paid better attention. I'm sorry.

TL;DR: Aroes died. Generic blew up the cave and barricade and the captives and guards all escaped to the outside guardhouse. Generic died in the blast and it was revealed that she was Standard's fiance. Valan died saving Reigen from a the cave collapsing as others were trying to find the bodies. The elemental returned them in tact, but still dead, and they now rest in the guard house guarded by two angry death knights.

...A few people went fishing and caught fishes for food. Fendrin got his limbs back.

It's hard enough for characters to even heal, a resurrection would be highly unlikely on the island.

In all honestly, it might be a bit late to join, as the event ends saturday. Anyone who joins now will have missed out on a lot of important stuff. That's all up to Loxie, however.
