So, rarely do I ever start to build something without a clear idea of what it was going to be in the end. However, I decided to do a little bit of an experimentation and see if I could build something that looked underground while being built above-ground. In my challenge, I said I could not use buildings at all. Every room, from the walls to the floor to the celling, had to be a different piece. Kinda like a puzzle. The end result looked...better than I thought. I added a few decorations to give the hallway some life while leaving the ten rooms totally empty. I figured I'd do the rooms when I figure out what I wanted the place to be.

Yeah no.

I still don't know what to do with it. Here are some screenshots of the hallway and one room, so you have an idea of scale as well as what it looks like.

As you can see, the place looks broken down, dusty and full of spider-webs. I added a few tiny spiders around as well, to give it some atmosphere. I've been given a few suggestions, but nothing has really clicked with me yet. So, I figured I'll take suggestions from anyone who has an idea they think might be cool for the area.

Things that have been suggested:
Generic Basement for all building types
Abandoned house/church/asylum/factory/what have you
Same as above, only haunted.
Druid den
Orc den
Dance club/old unused ballroom/conjoining rooms

If you see an idea above that you really like, go ahead and toss in a good word for it. I'm pretty open and can be convinced if I think it's something thats going to be used, rather than opened and ignored. I don't want it to be a repeat of other areas. I also would rather it be race and class neutral. Nothing evil, nothing good. Neutral.

So yeah, if you've got ideas, shoot them at me, cuz I got nottin'.

Alright, I haave no ideaa what the hell this place could be, but it gives me some serious TES dungeon vibes, and thaats aaweeesooooome.

Maybe perhaps some sort of Highborne ruin? A dragonsworn hall?

I'm leaning towards Highborne ruin, or at least something ancient and decrepit.

A dragonsworn hall? That.. Would be really neat. But if it was only for dragonsworn/currently in use, rp'll close off there, and asides, dragonsworn rarely let another know if they are.

as for the orc den. What was the name of the orcs who bound the red drakes to them. I don't remember, but that could be one of their ruins as well perhaps? Well, not really ruin, but an abandoned post.

I admit that I am... partial to the druid den idea, but my first thought was actually a dragoncult monastery - for dragon priests, not for dragonsworn. Though I think it could as easily be a general religious building for non-traditional faiths, something people could use as a religious gathering place in their RP. I don't know, it has a monastery feel to it!

Also, that hall looks appropriate for Highborne. We're probably going to see an influx of them soon, and a place for magic-using Night Elves (excepting Dalaran) would be a good addition.

1. Yup! 'Blood Elf Estates' is where its located at.

2. Sadly, this is using the custom patch items. As Highborne come in cata, the location won't be around for nelf mages to be a thing. Otherwise I'd considering making it a place for them. Going with an abandoned highborne place might be worth considering, however.

That still leaves me with the issue of what to put in the rooms. Hard to say its a place of faith if one of the rooms has plague vats, a warlock shrine and dead bodies. Hence why I need sort of a theme for it so everything in it makes sense.
