Mechano-tanks were primarily used to protect Gnomeregan from the invading troggs. Their spider-like design allows for quick movements and the ability to jump in order to move away from attackers. Not only are these suckers quick, but are equipped with machine guns and flamethrowers. Typically, you do not find both of them on the same machine...typically.
No one really knows who started up the idea to take mechano-tanks and use them to fight each other, but since the league was founded, competitions of been popping up in Arenas around Azeroth. Due to...unfortunate circumstances, new pilots are being recruited! Cash prizes, babes and fame is given to the league winners!
In order to compete, you must begin to design your machines. One primary weapon, flame thrower or machine gun, is allowed on each machine, with two charges of two special weapons.

Dynamite: And boom goes the dynamite! This added weaponry is more hands on than most would prefer. In order to use, you must light and -throw- it at your opponent! Be careful though, there is a 15% chance of it blowing up before landing on your target...
Bombs: These suckers can really pack a bunch! Typically held in a case on the side, manoeuvring yourself in order to light them can be tricky! But when they hit your target (or their target, they have minds of their own, you know..) they critically damage them! Only issue is they tend to weigh down the mechano-tanks, causing them to be 17% slower.
Rockets: For being the lightest and easiest weapon to launch, these babies (When cooperating) can sure startle and damage machinery! But because this -is- Goblin Technology, there is 20% of failure, including explosion on being lit!
Oil: This slippery, messy and flammable item can sure come in handy! Not only does it come in a fashionable carrying case, but it can cause opponents to lose footing and have up to 35% failure rate! Be warned though, once on the field, it can not only help you, but hinder you!
Barrels: Heavy and hard hitting rolling metal! Yes, it may just be left over from fueling all the tanks, but these metallic barrels can slam and ruin leg-mechanisms easily! Just like a mallet to a steak! Due to their size, the slow down your mechano-tanks reaction time, causing 15% decreased speed!
