After some reading and memory recall of real life jousting tournaments I've been to (mostly in educational trips and dinners at Medieval Times), the current location for the Joust poses a serious health hazard. The sport itself involves unhorsing your opponent, and even with heavy armor, you still don't want to fall onto harden wooden floors. Ideally, you want loosened sand/soil to make up your Joust--straight and flat enough for your horse to gallop through, but soft enough that you would not injure yourself too much once you fall off. For this reason, Tanaris is an entirely unsuitable location for the joust--the sands are too uneven for equal footing for mounts, and the roads as optimal galloping routes are too narrow and crooked.

If Dr. Dino was here IRL, he'd slap me for such oversight.

I am currently relocating the Joust, mostly likely Shimmering Flats; plus, I'm despawning the sports grounds. I'll probably have the Portal removed too or otherwise relocated as well.

Once the new jousting grounds is made up, I'll make an announcement of its location.
