Though I require more solid contacts now. Eyes and ears on the other sides of Azeroth. The one man empire shall expand. And no one will even notice."

The Leader

Gabril Gatsbi'nore is a crime lord who hides in plain sight. His business covers all forms of law breaking from petty left to slavery. He establishes events for his businessmen to gather and do their dealings during large parties that no one would think twice about. He's laid back and seems to always be agreeable. To the public he's known simply as a performer or the man standing around Silvermoon. In reality, no one really knows a thing about him.

What He Needs

His business of selling of fel crystals at obscene prices has been greatly damaged by the restoration of the Sunwell. Since his profits declined, he's looking to hire those who can keep their shady business hidden. What he's primarily looking for currently:

Rules

IC Rules

Enjoy your time since it doesn't last forever.

Don't speak to law enforcement of identities.

Learn to play innocent.

Don't fold under pressure.

Whoever is the law can't possibly harm you more than Gabril can.

Speak ill of Gabril and bad things can happen.

Don't get on Gabril's bad side.

Gabril knows everything about what you do.



OOC Rules

CotH rules apply of course.

No joining if you're going to betray and/or white knight.

Don't be surprised if your character gets jailed! This is a crime organization and if you don't play your character just right, you will get caught!

And please, I cannot express the first rule of the sever enough. Respect everyone every which way.

There will be Character Warnings issued to those who break IC rules. Break rules ICly and you run a high risk of your character getting killed or severely injured!

If there is a situation that arises in RP that you are uncomfortable with, you are free to OOCly remove yourself from a situation. Don't be afraid to let your fellow players know you are uncomfortable with something!


OOC Information

This is mostly a mafia-esque underground crime guild. It's open to all races and classes so long as they ICly acknowledge Gabril as the "Godfather" of sorts. He doesn't take betrayals lightly. His main rule is to have fun as well as one of my main OOC rules. This is a casual guild while also being serious. I'm looking to make a persistent storyline with this guild! If you want to join, contact me in game or send me a PM. I can answer any questions you have as long as you ask them!

I do have a storyline planned for all involved. There will be events and I will make this guild active. At least give it a shot?

Might be closing off recruitment in a few weeks. The pre-planned storyline will be underway after recruitment closes off. If you're interested in joining a storyline that will last well past the summer, feel free to let me know! I can elaborate on some of my plans for those curious, though I chose not to post the whole outline of it. I don't want to ruin the entirety of the story! Just keep track of this thread over here for updates regarding the Gatsbi'nore storyline. Again, this is your last chance to get involved before I cut off all open recruitment!

Some notes as I start pushing the story along:
Those who try betraying Gabril will be subject to CW situations.
Keep an open mind when RPing!
It is preferred that whoever signs up to be involved with the story not be disturbed by possible torture or mind control. If you are uncomfortable, torture scenes can be skipped.

I strive to create an environment anyone can play happily in. I am always willing to elaborate OOCly if you have any questions/concerns!

Once the guild becomes closed, it will be closed to any new "staff" people. Those who end up indebted to Gabril or slaved will be welcomed to the guild, however, they will have no powers within the guild. I cannot stress enough that I am here to listen to all questions and curiosities! Shoot me a PM, catch me in game, or contact me on Skype! I'm always willing to listen!... Unless I'm asleep. It might be hard to make me listen then.

Updated the rules. Gonna work with Reigen to come up with some noncombat events for the guild and a select few "hero" groups. PM me or post here if interested or if you have any questions!

I may do an early re-haul of the guild such as removing ranks, booting inactive members that don't produce a reason for inactivity, and figure ways to make the transitions through the storyline move smoothly.

The storyline may be returning soon! It will return more to the Godfather-esque feel I had originally planned when I made the guild. Events will be held once interest returns. Psycho and I will be planning out and DMing events and we will try to host them regularly. In time the storyline will get deeper and hopefully move the way I had planned it to go. Those who PMed me with interest in joining: The time to do so will be soon. For those who may be interested in joining, remember to PM me.

There will be more than one storyline going on at once! An updated main post will be coming soon to outline all storylines involved with this odd mobster-like family.
