Character Restart Thread

I am dropping all of my characters and starting fresh for the restart!

Marianna is coming back.

But she shall come back more awesome than ever! Full reboot, through and through! That means, of course, that her existence pre-restart will be retconned. As with all fresh starts, I shall begin from the ground and work back up the ladder with her.

I'll be re-rolling Moriok and Valira as well. Sans that, I'll be going for a clean slate approach.

Avon - May resurrect him for the restart and retcon his death, I'm not sure yet. May exist on another account to supplement RP with my other characters.

Lekan - He's being upped in age to adjust for the new rule that orcish adult rites take place at the age of twenty. Also, being renamed to Kagrune Ironbender (the surname is still up for debate, I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet).

Parth - He will NOT be retconned, instead having spent all the time from present time to post-Shattering training under his master, Gyram (which will hopefully continue when the player returns to CotH).

Vladmir - May get baleeted. Unsure as of yet.

After speaking to a couple people, I'm changing my plans for a bit. Pretty much all of my characters are getting hit with the reset button.

For Thragash, certain things will remain constant. For example, he'll still have his relationship with Rhozak. He's gonna end up a fury warrior with a similar personality as he has now, save that being a warrior means he's more likely to get super-pissed off in combat, as is expected.

Kazuru: She's going through some changes -BUT- that's not because of the restart. There are some IC reasons for the changes and there probably going to disappear over time.

Ida: No changes I don't think. Keeping this character.

Jazz (Jeromy): I'm going to change the names of his band members, but that's all. I'm going to keep good ol' Jazz to bring laughter into all of your lives.

Galik (... Er... f**k... Is that how you spell it?... this is sad...): Regardless of the fact that I think I forgot how to spell his name, I'm keeping this character. I enjoy the hordie RP, it's a nice release from the usual lovers RP and Tournament RP (though I still enjoy those RPs none the less)

Arn: I'm considering restarting him and makeing him more of the pacifistic that he never turned out to be.

Krel: Complete restart. He had an awesome story and unlike a lot of characters he actually had a happy ending, but sadly Stompkins doesn't play anymore so I'm going to restart him, cause I enjoyed my nerd character.

Vartaneous: His change is going to be determined on if Zernor changes at all when and if he comes back. Though I think I might give more reason to why he's evil instead of "Herpa derp. I kick puppies cause it makes me laugh"... I mean.... seriously... This character is so clichè evil it's actually kind of annoying....

Dela: How can I honestly say I'm keeping or changeing anything when I've RPed with this character -once-. But I plan to keep this character. I've never seen anyone RP twins before.

Durk: Delete. It's really kinda sad when your own character pisses you off...

Jeneal: This character sluty hyper activeness kinda got under my skin... I like the water druid idea and I'd love to do it again but I'm going to get this character killed. Sorry Tannayka.

Ian: Do you remember this poor excuse for a character?... Yeah... me neither... I really -hate- this character and I hope I don't make another disgrace like this again... He was annoying, boreing, crazy (but not even in a funny way), and on top of that I think his very existance spits in the face of lore... But I'm not going to retcon this character... I AM GOING TO -DESTROY- THIS CHARACTER ICLY! AND I'M GOING TO ENJOY THE **** OUT OF IT!- Though one cool idea I came up with is to bring him back as Kazuru's ghoul. Not sure though... His useless-crappy-ideas-cutties might get on Kazuru and I don't want that...

Kelarria: Unsure yet. Likely possible full retcon/restart, with personality alterations. May have her closer to middle/end of Paladin training, may change her back to mage. Still unsure.

Saronsen: Retconning the short romantic relationship with Tarania- Back to just being good friends. Unsure if I will change anything else.

I've thought about bringing back Kaldereto, but he'll be renamed. I have a base word I wanna use, but I can't decide if I want "Tikbalan" or "Tibalan" or even "Tikbalang". Either way, I hope to encourage some more Tauren RP, but if I can't get any started after the restart, then my Tauren is deleted for sure.

Garm - Staying the same, although I might make him a hunter.

Mathabaeus - Staying the same.

Thalendan - Might abandon his studies of Demonology and return to the Arcane. If I decide to do it, I'll do it gradually.

Alastor - Staying the same (considering I've not created him yet on the server due to the pc with WoW being on repairs, that really doesn't say much).

Maleeka - Staying the same.

Annabelle - The same, barring whatever retcons of other characters. Yes, she'll be happy to kill Redis. Adventuring with her demon hunter buddies all gone? Switched to nameless NPCs? Hm...changing age to a couple/few years older. Still won't get the majority of sexual innuendo. Her first death is retconned. Paladin training is retconned.

Marwaz - Back to a priestess of Mueh'zala.

Odetta - Staying. Need to actually play her.

I have lots of other alts I'll try again.

Jaeden- She will be twenty years older than she is now.
Vandreal- She will no longer be affiliated with the Scryers.
Shauda- Not much of a change, though she will grow a few inches.


For the rest of my characters, I don't feel any need to change.

Everyone gone except for Mertice and Barlton.

Barlton will revert back to his Mage self; all Shadow training retconned.

Mertice will be brought back completely changed. Everything involving other characters being retconned. He will no longer be a DK. Deciding on class. Perhaps Mage. :3

EDIT: Actually, Mertice will be the only one to be kept. Barlton will be scrapped for good.
