I think I started it... but not purposely in any way shape or form. I was commenting, not trying to start an argument. Either way, I think we've gotten to some form of an agreement. Reminds me of the last level in the Night Elf Campaign on WC3.

I guess I'd like to add another to the list, and that's about the slave rp and such.
I really do like slave rp. There was a time when my main was Marie, and she was a slave, and made to be so busy that I always had something for her to do ICly. She would spy for her master, tinker for him, make money, collect money, find investors and everything else imaginable. She also faced a lot of dislike because she wasn't going to let anyone else exploit her as the "weak link" of the organization.
But it's so hard to find that these days. More often than not it seems that slave rp will last all of 5 minutes, and pretty much end at the auctions.
It's like as if the good guys have a ridiculous amount of disposable income which they then invest in freeing every single PC slave. From an IC standpoint this makes no sense. From an OOC standpoint I am tired of good-aligned people dominating auctions. Why would a random shaman have 30 gold to throw at my character, and then let her run away? Where's the suspense in that? D:
OOCly, I think we should definitely request before hand to not be sold to these types because I'm not getting the rp I was intending to have.

ICly, I just had Shadovarn wise up and scam people.
After all, it's far easier to "sell" someone when you know a good guy will pay whatever price to free her.
Then split profits.

Heh, true.
I think it's really just a conflict between people who want hero rp and people who want victim rp. In this case I prefer victim over rescue roleplay :v
