I must say, I feel like there's something... different than when I first tried the BSHG events. They actually feel pretty engaging and much more enjoyable now.
I really do like coming to them! You should hold some more! There should be some balancing mechanism, whether it requires a phase of trust combat or such, that would give more justice to some of the other players, however. It's kinda funny when Chekka can avoid all these rogues and such, and start off by killing three things at once, but the warriors can't even tank or kill that well. I am guessing there were more NPCs in which we were having roll combat against, so perhaps we could have a phase where we "freely act" to get rid of some of the others. That's just my opinion. I hope you do not mind the feedback.

Really loving the events too, and woo promotion last night! I have a suggestion too, can those who decided to under-armor their character receive a boost to rolls at the cost of the extra HP?
I can see this a cast for either spell casters or melee. A shaman wearing robes or a barbarian wearing just a loin-cloth. It would probably make the DM's head hurt so I can see why this wouldn't be a good idea. It was just frustrating seeing multiple rounds of 1 HP healing because of fail-rolls. And then an act of desperation... 2 HP heal. I'm not going to comment on the melee fighters because they were crit-tastic last night. /brofist

Guys, today I will be putting up posts for the event system and doing a post on the Campaign. And I appreciate the feedback very much so.

The guild has been renewed with my return to the server.
Feel free to come to me for guild information and invitation. ![]()

...is it too much to say I love you? I'm not sure it is.

If I could find the time I'd like to dedicate a character to it :x

Feck. Right when I leave, Captain DnD comes back. If you host any events in the next few days, best bet I get in on it.

Between Thoradin and I we will have basic events coming up every so often I would hope, but in the near future I will be looking for a player that would be willing themselves to host events for the Honorguard.
This way with 3 people, I can coordinate small events that can keep a steady stream of stuff to do. It is also to do with the fact, I will have a job soon, and eventually my registration for college will drain more of my time so I will have less time on my own to do events. So help is appreciated. PM me if you are possibly interested in such a position. ![]()

I must regretfully say... With a recent happening I have come to a conclusion. I don't want starting this guild to end as another miscalculation on my end. I want to be here on CotH still, and RP and participate in other people's ideas... I guess I was reminded that, I need to take a break from being the commander, from being in charge...
It breaks my heart. I hate letting down my players, it is how I am from being a GM on other servers and other games, and a DM in so many games. I just hate letting friends down when I cannot follow through with an idea. Before this gets any farther and I am forced to shut down entirely, I want the time I am here to be spent socially active rather than cooped up as a commander of a guild that I have conditioned in my mind to be more about me needing to be actively planning and holding events for the server. I feel like a royal jerkoff for doing it... But I need some time to go over some news I was given last night as well. ![]()

Spend some time getting some RP and establish social RP with the guild (maybe put Kathorg out there a bit once he's approved) before you throw yourself into running an event. Make a name for yourself in the community since most of it doesn't really know who you are anymore with so many new members coming around since you were last active.
Just start off slow and easy and don't start making any large plans for storylines and the like before you've re-established. Perhaps that gives you some time to get to know your "elite" soldiers, too, so you ICly know where you have them and all. :P

bump4horde. This seems to be the only "official" military for the Horde, so I'd recommend anyone interested joins up.

I dare to throw my Pyremaster, Grukk Flamespirit into the fray.
No, really Brutal. Try to get in touch with me if you see me on the game, I'm free -almost- any time to do some RP to get Grukk involved. ![]()

I may not be able to openly hold events. But I will invite people if they desire a guild for their hordies.
So hordies can stick together. ![]() |
