Am I the only one getting the weird bug of respawning in the same place everytime, with the same items? Like, I have a Shovel and a Mining pick, I do whatever I want, I'll still relog with a shovel and a mining pick, in this server.

I had that bug for awhile until Kretol rolled the server back several hours. :<

Sounds like errors are spamming the log, causing the virtual drive to fill up and prevent saving. This does not bode well.

So, as some folks have noticed, the Minecraft server was taken offline yesterday as a result of the saving issue. I suspect it was caused by the map thing, but essentially it flooded the log with errors with resulted in a log file almost 1g in size, which filled up the virtual drive. This ended up preventing any further chunk/player saving. Every time I tried restarting the server, the console was flooded with errors about chunks not in proper places. I have a feeling that even if the errors stopped, there's going to be mountains all over the place.

So, worse comes to worse, I did make a backup right before I left. We can revert to that (and I'll disable the darn map plugin), but anything done after last Wednesday will not be there. I suppose that's better than starting all over.

What's lost can be rebuild! But in my heart, I am saddened. *Hangs head* Amerandia shall never be the same again.

Any-ho! Go for it, or.. or.. or.. Just wash it aaaallll away, like a flood. Though, I can imagine people disliking that more then the restoration of the back up.

By the behaviour that has occurred near Amerandia. Both sides, left and right blown off to make a gigantic, worthless crater by the sheer use of TNT. No creepers could have done that.

Whoever it was, do not ruin other people's work like that. It's no fun, and it's really disappointing. I can imagine one side being accidental blown up, but two?

Thank you for giving me hours of restoration work.. Come on folks, open your eyes and watch where you blow.

Edit: Noticing the undetonated tnt boxes and another gigantic crater at the left side. I'm moving. Thanks guys, truly. First act of grieving I've seen on CotH, while perhaps unintended.. surely you couldn't have missed the town close by. Onto a new place, even further away from the spawn so it doesn't get blown up.. Again.

Where exactly on the server is Amerandia?

Well, that's difficult to say without the map working. >.> I have no clue of it's direction, as me and Amerand ran in a random one but.. The town was pretty visible, and seeing it's.. not done in a half circle, or randomly around it I truly have doubts. If Amerandia is north, it was done to the east and west of it.

Any-ho, already settled a new place at.. lord know's where, hoping that stays intact.

Rigleyistan's sole monarch/ambassador/architect/pharaoh/corporate tycoon/artist/rebel/industrial worker/civilian/soldier/criminal/etc., Rigley, welcomes any misplaced denizens on Amerandia to cake within the lower floors of the pyramid.

The cake is unfortunately guarded by lava, though, by state arsonist Rigley. Rigley, chief of the Pyramid guard, is on the case hot after the perpetrator.
