You realize that this server is different in that they make their own lore, right? I really, really, really, -really- urge you to read some of the things in the Wiki for Conquest too.
Don't be offended by my avatar. It's not intended to be a handicap sticker, but a man with a gigantic butt.

Are you really against my idea or you are here just to remind me how I should keep my mouth shot because hey.. I'm not the owner of the server and neither a GM and thus I should not suggest anything ?

There's another reason why we don't allow this from a practical standpoint. To make a character with a custom skillset, Kretol has to personally alter the character. Could you believe how much work this would be to do this for every character who wanted to be a Cata class early?

Don't get me wrong, I would just make a normal hunter, try to make it look a bit pale as if it has been dead for a short amount of time and write in his description that he is a zombie. That's all.

Except most people won't look at your pale character and think it's undead. Not everyone has a flag RSP or TRP. Also I have had incidents before where I explicitly told someone I was a ghoul, and they still acted like I was the model I was wearing at the time despite the emotes of my skin falling off, etc.
It's not practical to have to go for a different model and inform everyone "well it's actually an undead" and so on. There's also no reason to take this approach other than you wanting an OOC skill-set. It's more practically to make a DK or undead that hunts animals and maybe has a pet from one of the vendors.

Ehh, I wasn't saying anything like that. And really, I don't wish to get into an arguement with you since you're getting quite abbrasive, so I'll do as you wish and leave it to the GMs and Kretol.

You said quote "Well, it's their server. The rules are tailored to their liking" unquote. But perhaps I missunderstood.

That. And really, it's not worth the argument. Cata race/class combinations have been ruled on so many times before. The decision never changes. So why keep trying? Just wait for Cata...

Why keep trying ?
Since I started the thread I thought It would be better to explain it as best as possible.
Also, about the dk idea... Dks can't use bows unfortunately...

Guys, there's no reason get rude in here. When speaking of the rules, wether thinking them outdated or not, remember that the main one is respect.
I do not think anyone except some few prestiges have ever gotten any special spells or abilities added to their characters, so you can forget about having a Forsaken given the hunter spells, I think. And if you are going to take, say a blood elf, and pretend them to be Forsaken couldn't you just as easily just take a Forsaken and pretend that s/he is a hunter?
Or make a elven Forsaken, though those would be special profiles, which means they go in the special profile forums, heh, make sure to read the rules regarding special profiles first though, you can find them on the wiki.

Sadly, High Elven Forsaken aren't playable. http://www.conquestofthehorde.com/forum/...hp?t=24728

Also, I remember a thread saying that they're going to try to keep close to Vanilla classes. Dwarf Mage is an exception, as it was in Vanilla, yet was taken out for balancing issues.

I was about to link this muhaha, thank you! As I was going to say, I brought up that six-page thing about high elf forsaken, and countered every reason why I thought they should've been allowed, with the help of muhaha and others. Sadly it was a 100% flat-out no, only one high elf forsaken is and will ever be allowed.

I'd suggest just making a Forsaken Warrior with a bow. /nod
Not all hunters need pets, and a Hunter is just a Warrior/Rogue mixed together. So.. Try to work around it. :3
