For once... it appears luck was on my side when it came to fixing a broken computer. Took minimal effort to fix it, and I've not lost anything!

Anyway, PC is up and running! I'm hoping to get ingame within the day, just as soon as I figure out how to get a folder for Cataclysm, and a folder for WotLK. Then I'll be set.

See, depending on wether or not you've only got one WoW folder, and that folder is already updated to Cata, I can't help you. However, if you have the CotH folder still, and not updated it to Cata. Just copy it, name one of the game folders CotH, don't change the other one from its original retail name. Change the patch and realmlist for the CotH folder to CotH. There you go. Now, make seperate Shortcuts on the desktop, pathed to each of the files. You can name theese CotH and Retail so you don't mess up. You should now be able to update the Retail folder to Cata, without the other one getting touched at all.

I DO STRESS, THE NAMES MUST BE DIFFERENT. So no double "World of Warcraft" folders.

I'd also set your coth folder to read only or zip it or something so it can't be changed by the Cata patch.
