Patch problems

hi everybody
im new here and i have a question
uhmmm so if i log in it says i need to patch to 4.0.1
but the server patch is 3.3.5 and i have that but they say i have to patch
how to solve this?

Well for one, you cannot log in yet. As you are not a peon. Have you sent in an introduction?

If your still looking for a answer try:

1. Right Click on your shortcut and click "open file location"
OR
Go to "X:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft" or wherever you installed the game.

2. Find and use the "Wow" application, do not use the "Launcher" application.

3. You should be on the login screen.

Uhmmm yeah it didnt work you didnt get what i wanted to say uhmm you know ill get the login screen from the beginning already but when i login it says downloading update when it reaches 100% it says have to restart Wow for the patch

Okay this is driving me very crazy...three hours of trying to get this to work NOTHING! This person had the same problem I had. It says the right patch and 12340 by the patch. When I try logging in it makes me patch but I cancel it so...what now? Is this where I give up for good because you never answered this person back. I have my realm list set to and deleted the one file WDB....I did EVERYTHING!
