Timeline?

I am currently reading the book titled Stormrage, by Richard A. Knaak.
Not spoiling anything in case someone hasn't read it: But some pretty Azeroth-breaking things happen in it.

Where exactly does it fit into the timeline? I just have a vauge mention, but it's not that much.

I'm assuming after WotLK. So...

Or, can someone point me in the right direction for all my timeline needs?

It takes place sometime in lat year 32. That's about as close a timeline you'll get. LK ends in mid year 32, some stuff happens then Cata breaks out in year 33.

Oh? But it's events are so grand, everyone would know it. Or at least suffer from a part of it.

I'm going to assume that since we are restarting right after the events of LK that the book has yet to happen and we probably won't get to the events on the server.

Quite a few things in both the manga and the books are grand things that affect alot of people. But if I think it is too had to keep track of those all the time. And apply it to the game. Same goes with new RPG scenarios added to the PnP.

For example how Grim Batol is filled with a new race of mutated dwarves created by the Modgud.

Well there are that option or you make it your cause to enlighten the server about these events, possibly by dropping out gossip or even arranging events that has to do with the effects of the book. (Preferably with GM's backing you up.)

And on a second note I believe that the events of the book are set before WotLK but after BC.
