I logged in, just hoping to look around the forums for a little, and... there's a sudden deluge of people leaving, of accusations that I know nothing about.

Can someone try to, in a way that remains as neutral toward both parties as possible, explain to me what is going on?

All I know, for sure, is that the community of CoTH seems to be at war with itself. It may even be justified, who knows? I don't. But I am sad.

I wish anyone who felt the need to leave the best of luck, and fair travels.

I believe it started with Secrettom, who may have been precipitated by some incident or other (I don't know, and it would be unfair to presume anything), who posted a rather inflammatory 'open letter'. Lucelia followed suit shortly thereafter. To put it less politely, they ragequitted.

Since they're pretty high-profile and have been around a while, it sparked a lot - specifically the idea of reform in the CotH rankings/duties, since those were things they mentioned very critically (as being full of corruption and whatnot.)

No, we're not at war with ourselves. There have been many people getting involved and making posts, but the majority seem more focused on problem-solving.

Thanks for taking the time to tell me. I didn't know how to reply to anything after I saw several... verbal attacks on some server members.

It's encouraging to hear that there's less just fighting, and more problem solving. I've not had any problems... about anything really, while a member of CoTH. So, I'll just sit back and see what happens, since it's hard to fix a problem you don't have experience in.

It's best at this point to let the steam roll over and get back into having some fun RPing. Things will get sorted out as needed and the server will move forward, much for the better in this case.

All I can say is I'm happy this is the one time I haven't been on as much as usual. Don't like the rage.
