It's just a shame that Danjinn seems to be made an example of here, for wrongly using a "swear" word and almost immediately apologising on releasing he did.

Mm, this sounds now more like this is an instance where someone was asked to stop, and they didn't. In which case, if you are asked to stop, whether it be by a GM or a player, please do. Otherwise it goes from an argument of semantics to an issue of respect.

Mm, this sounds now more like this is an instance where someone was asked to stop, and they didn't. In which case, if you are asked to stop, whether it be by a GM or a player, please do. Otherwise it goes from an argument of semantics to an issue of respect.

Again, it doesn't seem they were made an "example " of. Once it goes from someone not respecting the wishes of others for them to stop, it becomes something of an issue of respect. That's our number one rule.

I think the final point should be once asked, stop.
This goes with everything besides cursing.
There have been too many occasions of people just flat out ignoring requests to stop doing something unreasonable.
