I seem to be getting more and more drawn to religious RP, which I think may or may not fall into Political Intrigue. However, I'll still contend that I love day-to-day RP. That's not to say I don't enjoy all of those RP's, except for Romance. - The closest thing I have to Romance on any of my characters is their stories of their wives/husbands or some-such. Oh, also Roderick and Amartia blowing stuff up and killing people together.
I'm not a very romantic kinda guy.
Exploration RP is pretty fun, although I've been far away from it for quite a while. Combat RP could be fun if I could find any outside of the Arena.

I'm a fairly big fan of exploration or just travel Rp, I.E Long distance with camps and whatnot.
I'm also a sucker for romance and comedic Rp too.

Adventure/Exploration RP most definatly. I just love sightseeing in World of Warcraft! Such an amazing world!

I voted Romance (D'aww!), though I love Combat RP provided there is an insanely complex rule-set rather than just /roll over and over until someone scores five points, and as long as no one on either side has any intention of killing anyone. :mrgreen:

I'm a huge, -huge- romantic. Especially with Piken. ^.^ But. I'm horrible at picking favorites, as I go with my mood. Love the romance, but also love a huge-scale battle with slaughter and blood all over the place, bodies everywhere..! <Starts to foam at the mouth> ... But yeah. I'm really mushy-mushy, but also bloodthirsty. They go hand-in-hand! >=O
Teh fuh, when did so many romantics pop up? GTFO I'm trying to be unique!(Even though Romance has the lead..)

I was going to say what I usually say on this question and be all like "Ahmahgahd! I can't choose! They're all so great!" But then I saw Political Intrigue, which usually isn't on these lists. That is by far my favorite, at least recently.

Detective RP! Who doesn't like to solve a murder? And it's somethin' we ain' got! Cause it's awfully hard to solve murders that don't happen, or atleast... don't appear to happen. (I'm looking at you Circle of Discord!) It makes it tough for us P.I.s when there ain' no bodies to check for clues! Anywho, I guess I'd have to strangely agree with Piken, Romance, and war, but also Mike, adventure gets me thrilled too. Stuff like The Man Who Would be King. Possibly a pair or army veterans turned scoundrels, traveling to Northrend to teach murloc's military tactics in an attempt to conquer thier society and force thier way to becoming emperors of a lesser culture! Only to steal their money! (Mostly clams and fish.)

I'm not a huge fan of combat; above all I go for character development. I tend to dislike sitting around in taverns because it feels like nothing gets done, but I suppose I view my RP as a soap opera without the he-said she-said part.

Political intrigue. It's a fascinating type of RP when you roleplay as a doctor.

Anyway, I would have to say while I chose exploration political intrigue... Intrigues me. As I've expressed in that other thread I would like to roll a Human nobleman and try out politics, I think it would be a new and fun experience. Plus I get to wear a monocle :wink:

OH WHUT A S'PRISE I picked romance. And I'll tell you why. It is because it has a lot of potential for happy -and- conflict, for one. Secondly, everyone views romance differently. I can almost guarantee that each character played on CotH will react to romance in a different way. A character who's been sheltered their whole life will react to affection in a different way than one who might be used to it, things like that. And it doesn't always have to be affection! Picking on your significant other and doing all sorts of stuff with them is half the fun, too.

If I had a second choice, it'd be a toss-up between exploration and day-to-day. Exploration because I love traveling with my character, sometimes in perilous situations, sometimes not, and I've always sort of loved the "campfire" aspect of exploration RP because it can give people a chance to show more of the depth of their character's personalities through conversation, etc. Day-to-day might make most people think of menial tasks. Which can be fun to RP sometimes. But also remember...apothecaries, warriors, and other such characters who lead much more exciting lives than most of us do IRL. :P

I enjoy mixing my Exploration RP with combat RP, hence why my Orc is a traveling Mercenary, and my Gnome is a traveling salesman. I actually hope to create a guild on my Orc, Grollok, that travels to different parts of the world, hunting calamities. (Example: A devilsaur attacking the refugee camp in Ungoro).
