Patching issues!

Well if they were installed would they come up automatically as said patch number? because when I do it manually it brings me right back to the blizzard downloader and gives me the same old errors.

Well, when you download them it's X.X.X.XXXX to X.X.X.XXXX and you execute them in order. If I recall they do bring up the blizzard downloader so you might be doomed. Sorry mate.

Reinstalling the patches or the entire client? I've tried reinstalling the patches... I guess I could try reinstalling the game and the WoTLK torrent.

is the whole thing a torrent?..im not torrent friendly but if its not all torrented maybe that is the problem?

Could be, I'll more than likely end up reinstalling everything tommorw, But this time, I'll do the patches AFTER wotLK is installed,Maybe that will do the trick.

I don't think I could give you much help since I used the Blizzard downloader to get my copies and patches, but the best I can do is give you the link to the Blizzard downloader, but you have to have a live account in order to run it.

Thanks Nari, I think im just going to wait untill tommorw and reinstall up to the WoTLK then try mirror sites, if it doesnt work I plan on calling the campus IT department and see if they can open the port for about 30 seconds so I can download the two small patches.

I also updated to 3.0.3, and my game login changed to a magnificent blue dragon and everything, but when I try to log in it tells me I must have WotLK installed. And seeing as I haven't bought it, I don't own it. I tried to find an installer on Blizzard's site, no luck. So I read any posts regarding this on the technical support, then moved on to general, and finally off-topic. But no links to the mysterious "wotlk iso" I've heard about. So now I'm downloading the client via a p2p program. I'm probably doing it wrong, but everything else seems in order. Hope that helps.
