hrm. I'll have to do a lot of retconning on Kiegen, and I'll have to get rid of Grollok's epic battle scar...but fortunantly that's about all I have to do! I'm down for a restart.

Moving to Trinity is a smart move. Had a server with a buddy for a few friends that ran on that. I can tell you for sure it runs great with 1-5 people, if that's any consolation at all.

But I don't know if I'm understanding correctly -- we have to completely redo profiles? I don't understand why if they're the same character. Of course, unless they were highly influenced by something that now didn't happen.

Well, the server lore will change a bit, so if your character profile is based on that lore, you'll need to change the profile to match in with the new world.
If, however, your character profile did not incorporate any of the altered lore, then you should be good to go withotu any modification.

At least that is what I gathered.

Perfectly fine for a restart! I might tweak my profiles too as I repost them (And get rid of the characters I never use).

I was never too involved in the server lore anyway (Sin'Sholai, all that jazz) due to horrible times for me. Oh well, it's my fault for being Australian.

Jidaeo was all into the Sin'Sholai. Not a big deal though.

I would be excited to Re-roll my characters with a fresh start. Like the Ultimate Marvel series. * adjusts glasses * I'd probably keep most of my main characters. Jidaeo, Umbra, Maku, Sanguis maybe. I'd like to Snatch Renorien. things like that. but I'd be excited to start them off fresh in a new world and new history. Its very exciting. I can't wait for the new server. Raphael I'd bring back too.

Having cooled my heels in the thought-locker for a while since the last thread, I've come to the conclusion that I'm all for a fresh start. Wipe the slate. I'll likely take the atomic option on most of my characters and wipe them out. Mansfield stays, and most likely Cairnsmith, but everyone else will be on the chopping block for some serious consideration.

You actually are one of a handful of people that can debate and debunk an arguement logically and reasonably, a trait I'd more so respect from a person that be annoyed with. Most people can't back what they argue with, and that's usually when I say "sorry, no deal", heh.

However, because of the last topic, we came to these conclusions. The main problem people had was losing characters, and prestige classes. That was also a daunting task for us GMs... the possibility of having to approve everything over again.

Last restart was a pain in the ass, to be blunt. Especially considering there was probably four of us that were handling it, heh. This time we've made it easier for everyone, hopefully.
