I don't suppose it is possible to enable flight form and flying mounts in Azeroth? I've never seen a good RP explanation of why we can't fly there and assumed that it was simply laziness on the dev's part because they didn't want to have to retrofit Azeroth to balance flight.

He can turn flying on, but it's like we're swimming in the air. We should all totally go to Hyjal.

Nar, I'm afraid I cannot enable flying mounts in Azeroth.

Always bothered me. There are some things in WoW that I just can't wrap my little RP head around and that's one of them.
