Introduction of Faction-Swapping

I thought I saw this faction switching happen on another free server. Somebody had a Drae Mage and got turned into a Belf Mage with the same name. That was a PvP server, however. And what happens in PvP stays...bah. Never again.

I guess it might be a handy tool for people that decide they love their character's equipment and just want to be on the other side of things. Can't see it being useful here though. Might have to call Shenanigans.

No tauren rogues I'm afraid. The article says that you can only change to a race which allows you to be that class and gives the specific example that if you're a human paladin, you could only become a Blood Elf paladin.
