Just asking, because all the new introductions I see are posted by people with the rank of peon.
Has the Visitor rank been abolished, and are all new members peons by default?
Move him into the sun—
Gently its touch awoke him once,
At home, whispering of fields half-sown.
Always it woke him, even in France,
Until this morning and this snow.
If anything might rouse him now
The kind old sun will know.
Think how it wakes the seeds,—
Woke, once, the clays of a cold star.
Are limbs, so dear-achieved, are sides,
Full-nerved—still warm—too hard to stir?
Was it for this the clay grew tall?
—O what made fatuous sunbeams toil
To break earth’s sleep at all?

It has been eliminated for the time being, seeing as there are only 3 GMs, and with so many new introductions, it is a heavy workload on them, and seeing as they would have personal lives, it'd be considered too much. But, if this doesn't work out, then I assume they'd switch back to the Visitor system..

Any particular reason, or just for the sake of not making new members stand out like a sore thumb?
EDIT: And also what Jithe/Pies said. I posted shortly after he posted.

As has been mentioned, the workload of reviewing all the introductions in a timely manner is simply too much for a team of 3 GMs. From what I understand, it will stay this way unless this actually creates more work for the GMs than they had before.

Alright, then. Thanks for the quick answers, everyone! Seems like a good idea.
