Old Version

I haven't touched WoW in nearly three years.

I only have the original version, and I'd rather not buy the expansions just to play here. Can I sign-up for a trial account and download a full up-to-date version and play here? Or can I torrent an updated version?

I really want to try it out here.

Since I have my original version deleted, and I'm just downloading the wrath of the liche king client, will I need the old version too?

I just download Wrath of the Lich King, updated my patch to 3.0.9 and ran the .exe file and changed the server list.

It ran smoothly. Downloaded and running within a day, without a single cost. This is all really awesome.
