｢INVENTORY｣

Welcome to the Earthworks inventory thread! This is where we will keep track of all the Earthworks' possessions. There are three sections right now: Resources (with subsections Materials and Components) for stuff your characters can use to make other stuff Items for any unique possessions the guild might acquire Assets for buildings and the (mostly) stationary equipment that can be found inside or around them, neatly nested under their building entry As a rule, all members of the Earthworks have access to everything in this inventory. Resources are a bit of an exception, in a way -- your characters may still use them for crafting purposes, but they must speak with and obtain permission from Zeth'ugram (Maulbane!) or Krinag (me!) first. However, before you can take, you need to make sure the guild has something to give! There are three ways resources and items can be acquired. Donations are crucial. Most of what the Earthworks has comes from its members -- your characters are a varied group of people with many talents, and they are expected to use these skills to aid the guild. You can either RP these out or do them off-screen (if you prefer the latter, contact me). Events will often come with rewards, either in the form of unique items, minor assets, or resources. Make the most of the Assignments and Opportunities that are made available! Shipments from Ashenvale and Azshara bring lumber and iron to the Earthworks every once in a while -- small amounts of these materials are regularly added to the guild's supplies regardless of your characters' actions, at least for now. As more resources and items are acquired through RP, they will be added to the inventory. We plan to update this thread once a week with short lists of the changes, though there may and probably will be exceptions. We hope that this will give people more of a sense of progression and tangible rewards for their efforts and encourage you guys to stay active. Happy Earthworking!

RESOURCES

Materials

LUMBER
The Earthworks' primary source of lumber is the logging camp Lak'tuk. Although there have been issues with the loggers in the past and a trip revealed that there is something odd going on in the camp, lumber is still trickling in in a steady stream of shipments from Ashenvale. More than half of the supplies were stolen during Zeth'ugram's absence.

IRON
Most of the Earthworks' iron comes from the Mountainfoot Strip Mine in Azshara, a dreadful place run by dreadful goblins. Goblins can be feisty, and there have been issues with delayed shipments in the past, but that is no longer the case. Much of the iron in the Earthworks' possession was stolen over the past few months.

LEATHER
Many of the Earthworks' members are hunters in one way or another, and they often donate leather, among other things, to the group. A great amount of it was stolen during Zeth'ugram's absence from Orgrimmar, but there is no shortage of this material yet.

Mostly obtained through donations from the herbalists of the group, herbs are in no short supply in spite of the numerous borrowers that visited the Hall during Zeth'ugram's absence. There are at least two crates of earthroot and goldthorn, both donated by Krinag Mistcaller months ago.

Components

NAILS
You can nail things to other things! Harnod donated a whole bunch of these things to the group recently, but a part of the supply has already been used up in the repairs Harnod and Tomakra Boneblade carried out on Zeth'ugram's cart.

OBSIDIAN
Large obsidian shards donated to the Earthworks by Harnod, who got them from his brother, who found them in Silithus. Those who wish to use them must first obtain permission from Harnod.

ITEMS

HEALING OINTMENT	STICK
Krinag Mistcaller, who dabbles in medicine, has donated some of his healing ointment to the Earthworks. Supposedly this salve helps prevent infection.	Zeth'ugram's spare stick.
CHAIN	POT
It is a rather shabby looking necklace -- an old, tough rope with many dark copper-coloured iron blocks threaded onto it, with knots between each one. Thought to be an artefact from the Third War, it was retrieved together with an old pot from the Razorwind Canyons -- not without a scuffle with the harpies -- by Surthak Flameblade, Torok Whiteclaw, and Takoda Skychaser.	A simple, nondescript clay pot. Thought to be an artefact from the Third War, it was found together with an old chain in the Razorwind Canyons. The harpies didn't exactly seem willing to let it go, but the Earthworks group handled the situation.
CREEPY DOLL	GIANT MURLOC EYE
A tough leather doll with a ridiculously large head. There's a big grin drawn where its face should be, but no other features. Apparently used to summon a minor loa, it was found by Jwam'be in an abandoned house in the Valley of Spirits when he went there to investigate a spiritual disturbance.	A trophy from a fight with murlocs on a ship in Bogpaddle, this huge eye was given to the guild by Tomakra Boneblade.

ASSETS

EARTHWORKS HALL
After heaps of problems with resources and weeks of hard work, the Earthworks Hall has finally been completed and opened to the public in a special ceremony.

WHETSTONE	WELL
A foot-powered whetstone currently kept in the Earthworks Hall. It was given to the Earthworks by Naros' Armory as payment for Takoda Skychaser's help in fixing their grindstone.	A clean water well near the Earthworks Hall.

CART
A large cart with heavy iron axles, capable of carrying weeks worth of preserved food along with other critical provisions. Its axles were shattered during the Cataclysm, but now it is ready to use once again -- Tomakra Boneblade and Harnod have successfully restored it to its previous condition. The cart can currently be found near the Earthworks Hall.

WEEKLY (not really) UPDATE

• A major update -- fiddled around with formatting, changed lots of stuff. Probably safe to say the inventory is no longer a WIP. Hooray!
  
• The summary has been updated. Added a more detailed description of how the inventory is going to work -- be sure to read it!
  
• Added items and assets from previous events (The Daily Grind, Birds and Shiny Things, Bad Vibrations).
  
• We have a well.
  
• Two donations from Harnod -- a bunch of nails (he made them himself!) and 4 obsidian shards. Thank you Harnod!
  
• The Earthworks cart has been successfully repaired! It's been added to the inventory (under Assets). 10 iron bars, 30 pieces of kodo hide and 30 nails have been subtracted.
  
• Tomakra has donated a... huge... murloc eye to the guild. An... interesting gift, but the elders are grateful nonetheless.

DEFINITELY NOT WEEKLY UPDATE

• Updated for Earthworks v2! Lots of materials were borrowed over the past few months while the elders were away. -10 earthroot/goldthorn, -80 pieces of leather, -50 iron bars and -40 mysterious wood units.
