To be honest I never 'pick' a main, I've never done that and it's really just how my character's have ended up and the RPs I've gotten into, I never intended for Telendrin to end up how he is now personality-wise and so on, or for Meldan to be as he is, development should never be planned.

If I did this, considering how much time I actually get to contribute to a great, deep RP session, my characters would never be able to form relationships. With the community as it is, I'd say look for some RP buddies whose characters you play off well and whose schedule generally work well with yours, and see where it goes. My main became a Forsaken character before there was much Forsaken stuff around here because I enjoyed seeing her react to other peoples' characters so much, especially Cristovao. I never imagined that I could even bear a zombie for more than one session before her. Try rolling something you're not used to while you're still new, OP- you might be pleasantly surprised!

I've only been playing for a month (unable to play Cata atm) but I do have a slight preference for Orcs. Lack of contradictions that appear in more "civilized" cultures means they are fresh. Plus, natural tendencies make it so they partake in more physical confrontation instead of talking all the time, which can get boring.

Cayce Northend - Druid of the Cenarion Circle
Micheru Bloodrune - Moonglade Ranger / Vagabond Gratua Daggermouth - Walking the path of Lo'gosh Medrit Brightwind - Wandering Swordsmaster

The race is starting to pick up now that The Regiment is back around and it would be a good opportunity for you to jump into the community. There's a lot of great people in that guild who can show you a good time! I didn't wait for the Regiment. :> But yea go dorf shaman ![]()
Allons-y!
