Warframe!

In short, Warframe is an upcoming F2P co-op TPS that is actually looking really fun. To explain it in a way that's interesting and informative, here's a video by totalbiscuit.

Why am I bringing this up? The game is going into open beta weekend tomorrow to stress test their servers, so if you're interested you can sign up for it by following this finely crafted link.

It was in open beta for quite some time. I got the game...I got bored of it quickly =/

It's not that good, having been in the closed beta for a while. I'm vastly preferring TERA to it. For the first few hours, you will be like I was.

"OH MY GOD I AM A FLIPPING CYBORG SPACE NINJA OH MY GOD LOOK AS THESE ENEMIES MELT BEFORE MY BLADE".

Then when you get out of the first sector, you realize the grind. And the enemies stop being FPS enemies and become MMO enemies. It becomes less skill based and more HOW GOOD ARE YOUR GUNS based. It ropes you in by making you feel powerful initially, then tightens the noose by forcing you to either grind or pay money.

Play TERA instead. It's free, and more fun, imo.
