First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player:
I've been playing WoW for about a year, and mostly on a trial account - I've just started trying out different private servers. I tried to RP some when I first started playing but I soon realized RPing on a trial account is pretty much impossible seeing as people more then 10 levels above you are unable to hear you in /say and /me doesn't work. Though in my short time of (failed) RP, I tended to hang in the background rather then take center stage.
What country do you come from? What is your primary language?:
I'm from the USA, and I speak English.
How did you get into Warcraft?:
A friend showed it to me and after a couple of quests I was hoked.
How did you find us? Did anything in particular draw you to the server?:
Well, the RP aspect of course! I felt like I had missed out on something with a trial account on retail, so I decided to look up private RP servers and stumbled across you guys.
What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
All kinds. Whether its hanging out in a tavern or off fighting some where in Azeroth - either one suits me just fine.
What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
My favorite race is the worgen but as they aren't available in this patch, I shall go with the Night Elves (they're a close second any way). This race seems to have it all - wisdom, age, power, and a ton of lore (plus an epic capital
). As for my favorite class, I like druids. Mainly because they're so versatile but also because they seem to fit in well with the whole ancient and mystical theme the Night Elves have.
What are your expectations of this server?:
Frankly, to finally be able to actually role play.
Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
Maturity. Retail servers seem to have a lack of that.
Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:
Alyse walked silently though the tree, looking for the tell tale orange pelts of the boars she was supposed to be killing. She should have been finished long ago, but she had gotten side tracked helping some poor guy who had managed to get bitten by a webwood spider. Just as she managed to get past a particularly large tree, she spotted one. This one was a young one and it was faced away from her, eating something. She stepped back behind the tree so it wouldn't see her if it happened to turn around. She quickly shifted into her panther form and crouched in the grass, peaking around the tree to make sure it hadn't moved. Then she tore out from behind the tree, claws outstretched. She pounced on the boar just as it realized what was happening and had started to flee. Her claws tore into it and in a few seconds it was over, the boar dead at her feet. Then she turned and started the long walk back to Aldrassil.
(Yay starter quests!)
