WYSIWYG post editor test!

Another site that I visit uses a very similar editor (perhaps even the same?). It's functional and works well. I tend to post by using the quick post at the bottom of the thread, so I should be fine. Assuming that you can still type out the BBCode to be BBCode and not have it stripped. Oh, and Firefox's spellchecker appears to work here. That doesn't work on the other site!

Also, I found a problem on the other site where extra spaces are added after previewing. It tended to happen more frequently when you have a quote or list (ordered and unordered) in the post. It would be fine initially, then you preview, and suddenly more spaces have shown up. It can be a little frustrating at times.



I'm not sure if it was there before, but I thought that I'd point out that the WYSIWYG editor has a Source tab, which allows you to see the post as you would have normally prior to its install. I find it preferable to view things this way myself sometimes (perhaps to fix those spacing issues!), but it works well. Is there any way to make this the default view?
