Sometimes a break is good, yes?
Welp, to give a small explanation, I had a complaint about me a few months ago, something along the lines that I come off as aggressive, bold and intimidating to people. Since then, I've been actively trying to come off as friendly to people, but it seems that it has been in vain.
At this point, I need a little breather, a little time to figure out if I can even do anything to appease the community and make myself more approachable.

This makes me sad. First off it's impossible to appease the whole community. You have ages from 13 - 30 and people all over the world. Cultures, views and all types of people here who just like to RP. I don't know how you can be intimidated through text alone. I think its because you're up front, direct and mostly because you're a GM one whos been here for quite some time.
I don't think a few who misinterpret you should dictate you leaving but if you have already made your choice then. enjoy your breather and keep in touch. For those reading this sagenodding. Remember the GM's have a job to do, they can't always be friendly they have to be firm and strict on matters. We may disagree with them, but order must be maintained or I would've had a dragon already, or would be RPing a half dragon/elf with his own castle. And it'd be sooo stupid. My point is...you have to crack a few shells to make an omlette and sometimes you have to be direct. Don't misinterpet the loveable goofball that is Cressy to a mean tyrant. Because I think all she wants to do is RP like...The rest of us? Anyways Adios Chica.

I don't know if this is exactly the place, but...
I think you've been doing pretty well. And some people are going to view -anything- you say to them that doesn't coincide with their wants as being rude and mean.
I uh. Again, am bad with phrasing this, but people do like you. People talk to you. They must at least trust you, if nothing else. I think that's something, ya?
