I am being forced to take an extended leave of absence for an undetermined amount of time. My computer took a dive about an hour ago, and there are no signs as to what is wrong.
I'll be around on the forums and such via my phone, but no WoW for me until I can sort out what's wrong.

... Huh. This happened to me too one time, but I got a new monitor and it worked. Maybe there's an issue with the cable, or the ports. No idea, as I'm terrible with computers.
Good luck!

This actually happened to me exactly one week ago. Something possibly fried inside your computer. And it's probably something important.
I hope to see you soon though, Aultenoob! <3

Good news and bad news!
Bad news is, I can't find the problem yet.
Good news is, I've eliminated most of my options. HDD spins up just fine, CPU is working fine, power supply gets power to everything, cooling system works fine, GPU can't be it, and monitors work just fine. That leaves really only one thing: le motherboard. Thoughts on that possibility?

I may have centralized the problem, as I noticed that the DRAM light is lit up on my motherboard. Basically, that means something's wrong with the RAM, from what I can gather.
I have focused it down a little more! After doing research I realized that the RAM I have isn't 100% compatible with my motherboard. My derp. I have ordered some new RAM just to make sure that I can rule that out completely, as I didn't exactly have the required kind just sitting around.

Let's just hope this work. Typically when the problem involves the motherboard, you're good to go buy a new computer.

My RAM will be in tomorrow, or so says the order tracker thingy! Woo! I hope that this is the fix, otherwise I'm off for longer. ._.

... Damn you, government-run mail service. Why can't things ship via UPS and actually get here when they are supposed to...? New expected arrival date ia Monday. Which means, really, mid-to-late in the week.
