The use of the word stars is probably more figurative than literal.

The only thing I can think of is a stretch by any means, but it's the best I can really come up with. His post being #31 might have something to do with the degrees on the compass... That was the first thing I thought of at least, since most compass roses don't have degrees on them.

Edit:

If you take 31 degrees and go straight out from it with the rose on the WoW map, then it hits the edge of the Howling Fjord. And the Maelstrom. Still just stabbing in the dark, but that -is- Old God territory.

Also... Since there was absolutely nothing revealing about the last post, I decided to snoop around and found out that Aphe's signature changed!

"tainted wake" changed to "Tainted Wake"

and

"While in that autumnal north" changed to "While locked in that autumnal north"

Here are some updates. I got a [Resonant Photograph], and it gradually changed as I did things to it.

This one is from after the original cleared.

I think I've deciphered the letters properly, but it may be some kind of code.
