If I happen to go through with my group, which wouldn't happen for a while, I'm going to enjoy tearing the traditional folklore apart to fit it to the lifestyle and living conditions of my tribe. Y'know, location causes variances in a group's perspective and such.

Yeah, I think a perfect example of that is Christianity myself. Look how different it is in Spain compared to Britain, or Haiti where they mix African Vodoun with Catholicism to form modern Voodoo. As a history buff, that's one of my personal favorite parts about cultures, how geography and experiences shape history and society.

Human geography is a wondrous thing. A people's surroundings influence their views on the world, as well as their oral stories. John Locke was a wondrous man when he said a person was defined by their surroundings, not by their ancestry.
