Due to the increasing demand of profiles but the inability to keep up with it with currently only three interviewers (played by two players), as well as the process of actual matchmaking being slowed down by the busy lives of the matchmakers themselves (IC and OOC), some changes in the business had to be made. Below are the changes in policy in which service can be improved.

Hello. This is Kapre, founder and administrator of the Matchmaking Service.

I deeply apologize for the lack of matches made and slow activity, which crawled to a complete stop during my month-long absence. After some thought, we have decided to make some changes in policy to increase clientele and provide us more options in making the matches you seek.

1.) We will be providing and taking in mail-in applications of matchmaking profiles for potential customers. This is to help us include you into our service if by any chance an in-person interview cannot be made for whatever reason there is. While an interview is still preferrable, by filling out the provided applications, you can make your own efforts into helping us find a match for you.

2.) In addition to being added to our clientele list, with your permission, we can also advertise your name, race, and gender on our bulletin boards in Booty Bay, Ratchet, and Dalaran. This could increase your chances on a partner who could potentially be your future mate.

3.) Formerly, we were not to have profiles for our employees due to potential abuse and breaching of trust. Seeing how at least one of us is himself lonely and seeking a mate, we will allow employees to have profiles of their own--but it will be made automatically public. In addition, the employee him or herself cannot their own matches, but clients and other potential customers can see your profile and make their own arrangements with you themselves. Employee profiles will be known as Special Profiles, and they will be posted on our bulletin boards as part of advertisement for our business. As with normal profiles, you need only to provide basic information and nothing that could incriminate you in any way.

We hope these changes could help us, and especially you, in finding your potential match. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please contact Kapre or Bezington Whammelthrottle.

BUSINESS ANNOUNCEMENT


With the server update impending, some players have announced certain characters will not be remade; in addition, there are players who have either gone absent, banned, etc. To prevent matches being made only for that match to never come to be due to missing players or characters, the clientele will be absolutely wiped out.

But for those who still want to partake in the business, DON'T FEAR!

If you still wish to be a part of the clientele, reconfirmation is all that is needed. If you intend to remain part of this business now, you can post in this thread or PM me your reconfirmation.


UNTIL THE SERVER RESTART:

Kapre right now is partaking the Draenic Pilgrimmage, but he has his matchmaking charts still and has been working. Meanwhile, Kentado is going about gathering profiles. However, while both have consulted with clients about possible matches, no official matches will be made until the server restart and clients have been reconfirmed. Harvey, Throak, and Irogh's profiles are put on hold and will be assumed to be reconfirmed until their respective players make those confirmations themselves.
