Total RP 2 [1008]

I'm personally recommending people to stick with this (1008 ) version of TRP2 due to the compatibility issues. The union itself will only make items in the download versions of TRP2/GHI found here on these forums. (As it's easily accessible for everyone and most of the CotHbase uses it.) I'm not sure how horribly it affects items made, but GHI's mismatching prevents any item from being traded/used. Guessing it's the same for TRP2. (And we will most likely stick with it unless it fails to work with Cata)

If TRP2 works well with different versions; All the better. If not, we won't switch versions. Too many items are made for that.

With this version of TRP2, I was capable of reading other people's descriptions. It did not cause any errors between the versions.

Was more thinking item wise as I personally haven't tested it thoroughly. Descriptions have always worked for me so I'm not too worried about that. ^^ (Both to people with newer versions, or older versions. I've heard that being different for others though.)

TRP2 shouldn't affect GHI, and items made with TRP2 should be saved in your cache and thus carried over.

Never said that TRP2 affects GHI. Said that -with- GHI, version mismatches causes for trading to malfunction (-for- the GHI addon) and am expecting the same to be with the TRP2 addon. I'll look into testing it after the holidays but until then; The union provides items for the forum versions. That does not mean I am against people upgrading, I was raising awareness of the possible issue upgrading might cause like it causes with the GHI addon. And gave our reasoning in short for sticking to this forum version. (Like we've promoted and been open about since the first guild concept post)

That's fair! I only suggested it because I thought it might be handy to someone, and because I felt rather alone in using it (on CotH, at least). 1008 has stability and popularity going for it, so I recommend our readers make an informed decision based on their needs.

Try deleting all TRP2 files from your computer and reinstalling it. Make sure you close and reopen wow/etc.

Having used the MoP TRP2, I must suggest against using it. It has compatability problems which prevents it from updating when people change their TRP2 unless they're using the same version as you.
