As an update, neither of the two technician calls have been fruitful. At this point, allegedly there's a ticket open for a higher-up tech supervisor or the like, but unfortunately I don't believe we can progress until Wednesday.
At this point, I -would- simply order a VPS, but I really don't think it's worth the cost for me. These connection woes have been plaguing us for the past couple weeks, and other than some router issues in the past, my current setup has been pretty successful for the past several years. Furthermore, I have full control over the server and don't have to worry about paying an exorbitant monthly fee for a computer with a powerful processor, memory, etc.
Therefore, I implore everything to be patient! I'm also extremely annoyed at my connection's instability, but it should theoretically be fixed Soon!

Being as my connection has been absolutely horrendous today, it's probably not worth logging in for the time being. I'd suggest to take some time to do something else, like

Just type
/room coth
Into the little chat box at the bottom. If no one's in there... it's kind of a case of tough luck.

As another update, another technician will be coming out tomorrow in the early afternoon, sometime around 2pm. Hopefully they'll have better luck in diagnosing what the problem may be.

Thanks for your unrelenting determination Kretol, the frequent news posts really help morale too. I am using this time to trim down my excessive amount of character ideas. I think it's time to move to writing profiles now!

You think you can fight me.
You can not fight me.
I only want to be friends.
Can we type code together?

Anyways, Kret. Your determination is showing why we're all still here. We're hanging in there.

Hmmm. After a lot of research into these errors and mulling through how they've been resolved with other people (if at all), I tried doing something as simple as a Factory Default Reset, and... there have been no connection losses so far. It had been going fine for about 50 minutes, then I realized I also needed to restart the cable modem. So far, it's been going for a bit over 15 minutes with no connection loss yet, but we'll see.
The senior tech fellow is still scheduled to stop by here at around 2pm, during which I'll pop [spell]Bloodlust[/spell] and rip him limb from limb calmly discuss the issues, when they happen, and how the factory reset has seemingly helped so far. We'll see where it goes from there.
