Again, I would never suggest that a death knight is an inscriber cause that opens up a whole new level of power to that class. A level not yet explored.

Hey, I'm pretty sure that DK's can inscribe any weapon they wish, and as the quest says, as many weapons, whenever they like. And I also think that the runes are reactive to the DKs themselves, if not to the individual DK, so... I assume, that others outside of the DKs wouldn't have use for the runes either, thus limiting this "not yet explored level" of power. And I feel, that if the DK has enough time, or positive personality left (IE sense of humor) they could inscribe such mundane items, like a spoon. xD But I feel *most* would find it to be a waste of time and resources, when they should be off killing the Scourge.

Death Knights are a mix of runemaster necromancer and warrior.
Go figure.

Bear in mind, they are only capable of using runes of death, unholy, blood and, to a lesser extent, frost. They cant go around throwing elemental runes on things, it just wouldnt be attuned to them like death magic would be. So they are not runemasters. Its like the difference between an experienced swordsman, and a person with a sword and a "swordfighting for dummies" book.

Miah, I believe Astus was trollfaising when he said that. Just sayin'.
And, really, they aren't even Necromancers. Unholy Death Knights focus mainly on creating Plagues, not true undead.

MAster of ghouls. Army of the dead. Who said necromancers just focus on creating undead? They're runemasters specialized in runes of death instead of the elements, or like an inscriber if you will. Either way. Time for me to head out.

D'aww. Later, noob. I meant, by that, though that their undead aren't -true- undead, in the sense that they are self-sustaining, with a soul and whatnot. They're made via runes, one of, from what you and McKnighter tell me, the weakest ways to make an undead construct. Their main focus, though, is plague, above all else, which, again, as I'm told, is only one aspect of Necromancy, and not a focus by any means of the word, for most Necromancers.
I guess you could -consider- them a pseudo-Runemaster/Inscriber, but I'd also prefer to not step on the toes of multiclassing, really. I mean, you're already a badass, blood-boiling/freezing, plague-throwing, killing machine. What more do you need?

The difference between a Death Knight and Inscriber in terms of their ability in Runic Magic is as follows. . .
Inscriber - Knows 'A' to 'Z' of the alphabet.
Death Knight - Knows 'Q' and 'J', that is all.
