Heading up to New York City for a few days for reasons I won't waste your time or my privacy explaining. Suffice it to say, I'm in a New York State of Mind.

• Two Broadway plays
  
• The most boxing clever improv comedy show I've ever seen
  
• Staten Island Ferry/Statue of Liberty
  
• Saw Ground Zero
  
• On board USS Intrepid
  
• Madame Tussaud's wax museum
  
• Hung out and shopped in Times Square
  
• Hung out and shopped at 5th Avenue
  
• Hung out and shopped at Rockefeller Center
  
• Hung out and bargained in China Town/Little Italy
  
• Went inside NBC studios (SNL/Dr.Oz/Jimmy Fallon)
  
• Met (read: saw) Craig Robinson, the guy who plays Darryl on the Office
  
• Met (read: caught a glimpse of) Donald Trump
  
• Bought a cake from the Cake Boss (that cake was most definitely not a lie)
  
• Saw Clarence Clemon's tenor sax (that thing was so damn cool)
