Well, to make the RP in Stormwind, and the RP with crime and stuff, I could use a few other guilds:
1. A merchant guild. Some people who has some shops, and of course, they get visited by Marcones, to offer their protection.
2. A law guild. Either it is some squad of SI:7, or simple Stormwind guard.
3. A rival criminal organization. Either it can be a group of thugs, bandits, or simply another family.

I have a Human Paladin that could make some law guild.
Although, thinking about it, I think a law guild would be stretching it. What would they do if they caught him? They can't arrest him -- That's being a Guard.

Hmmm.. So in here it isn't possible to roleplay a guard? Well if not, then I'm sure that SI:7 agents have that right. And SI:7 would most likely have interest in investigating a crime syndicate

Doesn't playing an SI:7 operative fall into the same problem as playing a guard?
To address the concept of a "law guild", I would suggest forming a group of bounty hunters, vigilantes or even a citizen's militia (a "Neighbourhood Watch" sort of thing) or the like and keeping your crimefighting activities away from heavily guarded areas.
Just offering input - I can't access the server until I downgrade from Cataclysm, but this certainly seems interesting. If I'm back online at any point soon, I'll let you know.

The Light of Nova, and The Novalight noble house is run like a mafia. Public fronts and philanthropy and well connected, with a backdoor of other illegal and darker themes. If you wished to go to war for some reason I think it'd be good rp and would be ally vs horde in a way. Jid is arrogant enough to ridicule or mock a human regardless of status. Or maybe they could be moving in on business or vice versa.
Not saying they have to, but just putting an idea out there that could be interesting, if others were interested in it.

Well, since we are not in the same city, there would be less reasons for us to compete with eachother. But in this situation, a partnership would be just great.
