If you will bear them, the White Sun has some ruthlessly successful banditry operations lurking in Stranglethorn and Duskwood.

They would have more than enough fiends to play your Ambushers.

Alternatively, Tavren Black is a business-minded creature. He could also potentially be the owner.

Or in a terribly convoluted scheme we have both happen.

Sounds good Tavren, but remember - I kinda want the good guys to win. There's no fun in JUST starting up an event, to get ambushed and it being completed in 10 minutes. There should be a fight, and the White Sun should make some sort of escape.
