Hi, I was hoping i could get some help reguarding the nude bug, as its not just a minor inconveneince anymore, 90% of the time I log in, everyone is naked, and no amount of relogging helps. I cleared the cache 4 days ago and since its only got worse, and now I find myself having to just give up and RP with naked people, or not RP at all.
Even when people reequip, they are still naked to me. So please please help.

FYI, clearing your cache makes the naked bug worse. The custom item IDs are stored -in- your cache so clearing it gets rid of all that.

Clear it again. Yes, it will cause some initial problems, but I had the same problem, and it helped.

I'd like to remind people that clearing your cache clears custom item IDs with it. It's like resetting the items on you.

It has now been speculated by a friend and I that the last character you made will have epic naked bug. Make yourself a new random character and then see if it is as bad as your normal one.

Yeah. Im having the same problem too. Same logging doesnt help, cache clearning (or not) doesn't help. And equip/dequip also isnt helping. Maybe its Trinity? As it seems even legit clothing is now disappearing too. Not just the custom items.

There's two kinds of naked bugs.
The first naked bug is because of custom items, and it should only be an initial thing that can be easily fixed by reloading or reequipping the items.
The second is the actual naked bug where nothing shows at all. Often closing down WoW completely and reloading fixes it, it eventually goes away.
Clearing your cache doesn't help for the custom items, though.

The way to fix it is to get the beer goggles from the vendor on GM island (inside the building). Pop them on and off and it'll fix the problem.
All bumbling conjurers, clumsy squires, no-talent bards, and cowardly thieves in the land will be preemptively put to death. My foes will surely give up and abandon their quest if they have no source of comic relief.

Okay...
1. Never ever clean your Cache. As Wuvvums said - the information about the custom items is stored there and if you do, you will have to encounter all items all over again, which will cause naked bug on first encounter.
2. Mok'tar is selling goggles that work like a charm. He's located on the second floor of GM Island... big orc with a hood, can't miss him. Oh, and the goggles are free. Put them on, take them off - everyone are clothed.
3. Kretol mentioned that there might be 'bugged ones'... he said that in this case creating a character, just to fill in a slot in the end would fix it. Don't delete any of your chars or anything... just create a character and log back on your normal char, no need to log on the one you created.
I hope this makes it all clear... if not, I can't help any further.

Try with the goggles and report back on confirmation of any change.

Just an fyi, MokTar has them listed as ""Blix's Eyesight Enhancing Romance Goggles"
They are free and are on the last page of his inventory.
I tried them and they worked for me.
