Personally, I think CotH gives plenty of handouts. Tier gear, leveled dungeon gear, RP accessories, etc. Instating something like these seems like going too far. We already have any look we want. With this, it would probably make the lot of us that much lazier.

Well, to be honest, I've seen this kind of thing happen before for events with lowbies. Everyone gets phased so that there aren't any mobs running around slaughtering everyone, and the event goes on.
All bumbling conjurers, clumsy squires, no-talent bards, and cowardly thieves in the land will be preemptively put to death. My foes will surely give up and abandon their quest if they have no source of comic relief.
